Dr. Tod Northrup

Dr. Tod Northrup graduated from Waverly High School in New York and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at St. Lawrence University. Dr. Northrup's athletic achievements include NY State and High School National Wrestling Championship; he was an NCAA Collegiate National Champion as well, and represented the United States in international wrestling competitions.

Dr. Northrup earned his medical degree at Philadelphia College Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Michigan State University. Dr. Northrup has completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During his fellowship, he assisted in the care of the Houston Rockets, Oilers, Astros and the University of Houston Cougars.

Dr. Northrup became Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery in 2000. Dr. Northrup's research in knee ligament reconstruction has earned him the Don Joy Award for Scientific Research in Sports Medicine. In addition to research and publications, Dr. Northrup is currently the Team Physician for four high schools and the University of North Florida. He was previously team physician for the Jacksonville Cyclones professional soccer team.

Dr. Northup provides orthopedic care for sports injuries, fractures, arthritis, joint replacements, and workers compensation injuries.
