Florida Sports Medicine Institute Specializes in the comprehensive management of athletic injuries and provides state of the art treatment in a caring, sophisticated environment. Formed in 1997, FSMI's specialist's goal is to improve the identification, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries for the recreational to the elite athlete. Dr. Tod Northrup is Board Certified and Fellowship Trained in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy. Dr. Northrup supports continuing active research and educational activities in the field of sports medicine. Such activities include, team physician, education of people involved with the health of athletes, service to local, regional and national competitions and the presentation of scientific research papers at sports medicine meetings.
